Andrea Hazard

Andrea Hazard developed the science-based Step-by-Step Reader Program to fill a void in reading education that she discovered when her daughter was learning to read some twenty years earlier. She has extensive experience writing educational content for top publishers, including Pearson, Macmillan, and Nature Education. She lives in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of New York, where she enjoys spending time with her canine friend Luna and her feline friend Mallie.
